CATC/LeCroy USB Chief Analyzer Perfect working condition but PLEASE READ

This CATC/LeCroy USB Analyzer is in perfect working condition, but it is not for everyone. If you want to study the inner workings of USB, this is an excellent analyzer, used in the past by the USB development community (including me) to develop USB chips. But please understand that the unit is obsolete, with the following restrictions:
1. The PC-based software, available for free download in the legacy section of the LeCroy web site, works only with Windows XP. You'll need to find an old PC (not hard) to run the software. I tried the "compatibility" mode of Windows 10 but it never could run the SETUP program.
2. The analyzer ONLY supports USB low-speed (1.5 Mb/s) and full-speed (12 Mb/s). If you plug a modern USB disk drive into it, for example, it will not be recognized. You'll need some USB-A cables to fit its square USB connectors.
That said, if you want to see and analyze USB bus traffic, you can always plug in a mouse or keyboard (low speed) or a full-speed device or hub. The photos 3-6 show the kind of information you can capture, view and analyze. These traces are from the actual unit I will ship in a well-packed USPS medium flat-rate box (photo 7).
Photo 3 is a snapshot of mouse traffic. The mouse periodically answers INTERRUPT requests to transmit 5 bytes of data representing mouse movement and buttons.
Photo 4 shows the mouse data changing over three transactions--it's moving.
Photo 5 shows bus statistics for the capture.
Photo 6 shows how the analyzer can decode the received bytes into meaningful data.
So it's great for learning, but not state of the art.
