  • Condition: Original good condition. Authentic from the WWII time period. No overseas shipping. Overall length of the bayonet (not including the scabbard) measures approx. 14 1/4", and the blade length measures approx. 9 3/4". The blade was shortened during the war for the M1 rifle. Including the scabbard the bayonet measures approx. 15 3/4". The blade has some wear and tarnish. The blade is marked US 1943 UFH to one side with a faint US Ordnance Flaming Bomb arsenal stamp to the other side. The grips to the bayonet are tight with no movement. The bayonet fits properly into the scabbard and stays firmly into place. The scabbard has some scuffs to the surface paint with scratches. The scabbard metal throat and tip has some surface tarnish and wear and has the US Ordnance flaming bomb mark. The scabbard has no tears or major cracks. The bayonet press stud is in working order.
