higher-head/lower-flow
applications in a wide range of residential and light commercial systems. It is ideal for high-pressure drop boilers, fan coil units, heat exchangers, larger radiant systems, heat recovery, and geothermal systems. The bronze cartridge 009 should be used on open-loop systems. Taco 009 BF5-J & Taco 0011 BF4-J are the flagship pumps of the wood boiler industry.
BF – Bronze, Flanged Variations:  J – Bronze Cartridge with Cast Iron Casing; These “J” pumps were designed for open & closed systems. These “J” pumps were designed for open & closed systems due to the amount of oxygen in the systems. The Bronze Cartridge increases the life of the pump and is able to handle the hard application better. This cartridge prevents the pump from deteriorating due to oxygen in the water system.

heat recovery, open-loop solar heating and light commercial domestic water recirculation systems. The unique replaceable cartridge contains all of the moving parts and allows for easy service, instead of replacing the entire circulator (SKU: RC009). Compact, direct-drive,
